Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM), rotating | On-call required (rotating weeknights, weekends, and holidays)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Vascular Interventional Radiology setting across adult and pediatric populations
- Assist with and circulate for interventional radiology and special procedures
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation during procedures
- Participate in rotating on-call coverage including weeknights, weekends, and holidays
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in ER, trauma, ICU, critical care, or procedural nursing
- Experience with moderate sedation
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact State nursing license
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Radiation badge required — must be supplied by the placing agency prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in pediatric and/or adult vascular interventional radiology
- Experience circulating for interventional procedures
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system
