Registered Nurse – Bone Marrow Transplant Outpatient (BMT OP)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM | Rotating Weekends: 7:30 AM – 12:00 PM (Saturday/Sunday) | No Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and monitor chemotherapy, IVIG, and other infusion therapies in an outpatient clinic setting
- Perform and assist with blood product transfusions including PRBCs, platelets, and plasma
- Manage a daily patient load of 6–8 patients within a 15-room outpatient clinic environment
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, PCTs, schedulers, social workers, and apheresis staff
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Operate and troubleshoot infusion pumps and related clinical equipment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy Certificate (required – candidates without this certification will not be considered)
- Experience with infusion pump operation
- Proficiency or ability to work within Meditech EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BMTCN (Blood and Marrow Transplant Certified Nurse) or OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse) certification
- Prior outpatient oncology or transplant clinic experience
- Background in Transplant and Cellular Therapy (TCT) settings
