Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Rotating Weekends | No Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Antepartum/Postpartum unit with patient ratios of 3:1 and 4:1, occasionally 2:1 depending on acuity
- Perform and assist with non-stress tests and hyperemesis management
- Administer and monitor insulin drips, magnesium, and heparin drips
- Document accurately using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems
- Collaborate as part of a unit team consisting of charge nurses, staff RNs, and unit clerks
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of Postpartum or Mother Baby nursing experience
- Proficiency or ability to quickly learn Meditech and CPN EMR platforms
- Strong teamwork orientation and effective communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous Labor & Delivery or Antepartum nursing experience
- Familiarity with magnesium and heparin drip administration in an obstetric setting
