Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Some Weekend Shifts Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to high-risk Labor and Delivery patients including those with pre-eclampsia, diabetes, and multiple gestations
- Actively manage laboring patients through induction, augmentation, VBAC/TOLAC, and maternal emergencies
- Care for Antepartum patients at established nurse-to-patient ratios (Labor 1:2, Antepartum 1:3)
- Float between units as needed within the facility or designated sister facilities
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- Valid Washington State RN license or active Compact RN license
- Experience in acute care, high-risk Labor and Delivery
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Ability to work some weekend shifts as part of the contracted schedule
- Two professional references covering at least one year of experience within the last three years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience managing maternal emergencies and complex obstetric conditions
- Familiarity with Antepartum care and high-risk pregnancy management
- Experience in a short-term acute care or trauma center environment
