Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols and departmental procedures
- Prepare and position patients for MRI scans, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure
- Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality standards
- Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality prior to submission
- Document patient information and imaging data accurately in the medical record system
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification in Radiography or MRI (MR)
- Current state licensure as required
- Hands-on experience operating MRI equipment and performing MRI procedures
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contrast administration guidelines
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a hospital or acute care imaging environment
- Familiarity with a variety of MRI sequences and advanced imaging techniques
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills
