Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage patient assignments within a 1:4–5 nurse-to-patient ratio across a 20-bed unit
• Respond to and coordinate care for an average of 100 patients per day, including 20–30 EMS ambulance arrivals daily
• Deliver emergency nursing care within a Level 3 trauma center, chest pain accredited center, and stroke receiving center
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure timely and effective patient assessment, intervention, and disposition

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on Emergency Department RN experience
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work full-time night shifts

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level 3 trauma center or similarly accredited emergency environment
• Familiarity with chest pain and stroke protocols
• Experience caring for a broad patient population including pediatric and geriatric patients
