Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for a diverse patient population including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Maintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 within a 20-bed Emergency Department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Respond to emergent and critical patient needs with clinical competence and efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent, hands-on Emergency Department RN experience
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS and/or TNCC certification
• Experience caring for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations in an ED setting
• Familiarity with community-based hospital environments that offer a broad range of specialty services
