Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) or 3x12-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 7:00 PM) | No weekends | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within an ambulatory operating room setting consisting of 9 ORs
• Support surgical cases across a range of specialties including Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, and Surgical Oncology
• Complete cases as needed, including one late week per four-week period
• Float within the perioperative facility as needed to meet patient care demands
• May be required to precept care team members in the operating room
• During hurricane season (June–November), may be assigned to emergency response teams as directed

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina RN License or valid Compact Nursing License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of operating room nursing experience
• Radiation badge (must be provided by the candidate's parent company)
• No first-time travelers accepted for this role

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in specialty areas such as Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, or Surgical Oncology
• Prior experience in an ambulatory or outpatient surgical environment
