Full-Time | Permanent | Onsite | Nights – Three 12-Hour Shifts (7p–7a)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to OB patients greater than 20 weeks gestation in a high-acuity Labor and Delivery setting
- Manage patient assignments in Labor & Delivery (1:2 ratio) and OB Triage (1:2–3 ratio, contingent on acuity, phase of care, and census)
- Collaborate intra- and interdisciplinarily to deliver safe, effective patient care across a 10-room L&D unit and 2-room OB Triage area
- Maintain accountability, flexibility, and open-minded problem-solving in support of a culture of safety
- Participate in a team-oriented environment that emphasizes mentoring, learning, and professional development
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 18 months of Labor and Delivery or Antepartum RN experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required (must be obtained within 30 days of hire if not current)
- AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required within 30 days of hire
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level II or higher Labor and Delivery setting strongly preferred
- Strong communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across disciplines in a fast-paced environment
