Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct care for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns throughout the childbirth and recovery process
- Perform triage assessments and non-stress tests (NSTs)
- Serve as second nurse at deliveries and manage overflow patients as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver patient-centered care
- Support and monitor patients experiencing complications during pregnancy, birth, or postpartum recovery
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must be labor-trained with hands-on Labor & Delivery experience
- Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Current S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
- Fetal Monitoring certification at Intermediate level or above
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity obstetrics environment
- Strong interdisciplinary communication and team collaboration skills
