Travel RN – Postpartum / Mother Baby (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage perineal care for postpartum patients
• Provide comprehensive mother and baby nursing care within a 23-bed postpartum unit
• Educate parents on newborn care, safety, and bonding techniques
• Collaborate with charge nurses, CNAs, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems
• Maintain patient ratios of approximately 3–4:1 in a fast-paced acute care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital Postpartum / Mother Baby experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency with Meditech / CPN EMR or comparable electronic medical record systems

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of experience in a dedicated Mother Baby unit
• Demonstrated flexibility with scheduling and ability to adapt quickly to new clinical environments
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach with strong communication skills across staff and provider teams
