Cath Lab Technologist – IR/Special Procedures

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite | 40 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cardiac catheterization laboratory procedures in accordance with facility protocols and clinical standards
• Assist physicians during interventional and special procedures within the Cath Lab setting

• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekday call (5:30 PM – 7:00 AM) and weekend call (Friday 5:30 PM – Monday 7:00 AM), approximately 12–13 call days per 6-week period
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards throughout all procedures
• Work scheduled weekends and some holidays as required by department needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab Technologist experience required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active BLS certification required
• Active RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
• Valid, active state license required at time of submission — pending licenses not accepted
• Must be available for on-call assignments per rotation schedule

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong, experienced background specifically within a Cath Lab environment
• Familiarity with Relias or Net Learning compliance and training portals
