Contract | 13-Week Assignment | 36 Hours per Week | 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Three Days per Week | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday scheduling based on unit needs
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Monitor and manage patients requiring cardiac drips including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Bumetanide
- Assist with TR Band management straight from procedure
- Support Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation processes per unit protocol
- Float to all acute care units as needed
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry nursing experience
- Demonstrated experience with TR Band management post-procedure
- Experience administering cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, Bumetanide)
- Familiarity with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of Telemetry nursing experience
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR
