Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (11:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Monday – Friday | Weekends and holidays as needed | No on-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform generalist laboratory testing across multiple disciplines including chemistry, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis
• Operate and maintain laboratory instrumentation including Beckman DXC & DXI, Sysmex XN 2000, Siemens CS 2500, Beckman Iris, Clinitek Advantus, and manual microscopes
• Conduct kit testing, Sofia testing, and body fluid counts
• Document and manage patient results accurately using Cerner EMR
• Maintain flexibility to meet the scheduling needs of the unit, including weekends and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee state laboratory license required
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT); AMT or ASCP certification accepted
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience
• Prior travel assignment experience required
• Must be flexible with scheduling; block schedules cannot be accommodated

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Generalist laboratory experience strongly preferred (microbiology not required)
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
• Experience with the specific instrumentation platforms used in this laboratory setting
