Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Care / Outpatient Clinic (OB & Primary Care)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts, Tuesday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM (with occasional Monday coverage as needed)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform telephone triage for pediatric, OB, and adult patient populations
• Conduct in-clinic appointments including injections, blood pressure checks, wound care, suture removal, and newborn checks
• Obtain and assess vital signs, pulse oximetry, height/weight, pain assessments, and patient health histories including allergies
• Interpret laboratory results and communicate findings appropriately
• Administer medications via intradermal, intramuscular, intravenous, and subcutaneous routes
• Utilize external fetal heart monitoring (EFM) and support women's health and OB patient care needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington State or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic nursing experience (required)
• Labor & Delivery nursing experience (required)
• Triage experience (required)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records (required)
• Experience managing hypertension and working with higher patient ratios

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Strong patient education skills, particularly around lifestyle modifications and medication adherence
• Experience participating in quality improvement initiatives within a clinical team setting
