Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting
- Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards and maintain appropriate patient ratios
- Float between units as needed based on census and unit needs
- Participate in on-call shifts as required (up to one on-call shift per two-week period during low census)
- Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
- LDRP experience including postpartum care
- Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
- Clean background; facility does not accept background or Nursys hits
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 1–1.5 years of Labor and Delivery experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in a short-term acute care hospital environment
