Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 36 hours per week with rotating weekends | Projected Start: July 27, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a 40-bed Medical/Surgical unit with a 1:7 patient ratio
- Perform unit-level procedures including EKGs, glucometer checks, and venipuncture
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including a clinical nurse coordinator, PCTs, and a unit coordinator each shift
- Float to like units as needed in accordance with contract labor floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg RN experience
- Proficiency with standard medical/surgical unit equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Experience working in a high-volume or large acute care hospital setting
