Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours/Week | Every Other Weekend | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to mixed-acuity patients, including PCU-level and pre- and post-surgical populations, on a 32-bed Stepdown/PCU unit
• Monitor and manage patients requiring telemetry, dysrhythmia interpretation, and respiratory support
• Administer IV therapy, blood products, and heparin protocols; maintain central line and PICC care
• Participate in rapid response and code team activations as needed
• Perform wound care and support pre- and post-surgical patient recovery
• Float within the organization as required and participate in on-call responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent progressive care / PCU / Stepdown experience
• Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand at time of submission
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• NIHSS certification required
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Ability to float within the organization and fulfill on-call requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, and rapid response or code team participation
• Proficiency with central line and PICC care, heparin protocols, blood product administration, and wound care
• Teaching hospital experience welcomed
• First-time travelers are accepted
