Contract | Onsite | Rotating Day/Night Shifts (3x12-Hour Shifts) | Day: 7:00am–7:30pm | Night: 7:00pm–7:30am

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, with potential to float to other units serving the same patient population
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in rotating holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required facility orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Minimum of 18 months of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry experience (travel experience accepted)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of permanent experience obtained within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm recognition and telemetry monitoring
