Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including both a Main ED and Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) locations
- Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, chest tubes, and central lines
- Maintain a patient ratio of 4:1 while collaborating with a team that includes paramedics, EMTs, and dedicated unit secretaries
- Document all patient care accurately and thoroughly using the Epic electronic health records system
- Float between the Main ED and FSED units as required per unit floating policy
- Meet scheduling requirements including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Current PALS certification
- TNCC or ENPC certification
- CPI certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department with both adult and pediatric patients
- Proficiency with Epic documentation system
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and adapt in a dynamic clinical environment
