Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (4x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Every other weekend and every other holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a pediatric hospital setting, including NICU and PICU environments
• Perform respiratory and neuro diagnostic procedures in accordance with scope of practice
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float within scope of practice to other units as needed
• Participate in a self-scheduling model with efforts made to accommodate preferences

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
• Minimum Level 4 NICU experience required
• Active state license required; Virginia license pending accepted if temporary license can be obtained before start date (another state license must be held to be eligible for temporary licensure)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Adult Critical Care Specialist (ACCS) certification preferred
• Cardiac PICU experience preferred
