Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend coverage required (may vary based on need)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple pediatric areas including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care
• Deliver patient care during night shift hours in a fast-paced, multi-specialty pediatric environment
• Float to other units and/or campuses as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
• Utilize electronic medication dispensing systems (Pyxis and Omnicell) for medication management
• Complete required pre-assignment modules within 48 hours of receiving login credentials

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Current BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
• Ability to work across all pediatric areas including PICU, NICU, ER, and Acute Care
• Willingness and ability to float to qualified units as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel or contract experience in a pediatric respiratory therapy role
• Familiarity with both Pyxis and Omnicell medication dispensing systems
