Registered Nurse – Oncology / Med-Surg (Inpatient)

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekdays and Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care on a Med-Surg or Oncology unit
• Manage a patient assignment within a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform IV starts and other required clinical skills as part of routine patient care
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support patient safety and positive outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in West Virginia or a valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Proficiency with IV insertion
• Permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility (candidates 75–100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology nursing experience
• ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification
• NIHSS certification
• Experience with Cerner EMR
