Contract | Night Shift (12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care on a 10-bed adult inpatient rehabilitation unit with a 1:5 nurse-to-patient ratio, managing diagnoses including stroke, trauma, orthopedic, and neurological conditions
• Administer IV fluids, antibiotics, and heparin drips as part of patient care; perform nebulizer treatments and inhaler administration; assist with removal of CPAP/BiPAP equipment as directed
• Participate in interdisciplinary team conferences held approximately between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM to coordinate patient care with PT, OT, SLP, and rehabilitation physicians
• Fulfill charge nurse responsibilities when assigned, including accepting a patient assignment at a 1:5 ratio
• Float to similar med/surg telemetry units as needed
• Adhere to facility clock-in and clock-out requirements and maintain professional dress code (any color scrubs, clean and professional)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in good standing
• Current BLS certification required
• Rehabilitation nursing experience required for first-time travelers; med/surg background considered with prior travel experience
• Ability to work every other to every third weekend
• Availability to meet holiday requirements as scheduled

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a rehabilitation or med/surg setting
• Familiarity with stroke, orthopedic, neurological, and trauma patient populations
• Experience working in an acute inpatient rehabilitation environment with interdisciplinary care teams
