Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Three 12-hour shifts per week plus 2 on-call shifts | Onsite | Holiday and on-call coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, and BLS in the delivery of emergency care
• Achieve patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
• Provide coverage at the primary Emergency Department location as well as potential coverage at additional nearby facilities
• Participate in holiday and on-call rotations as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS or equivalent certification
• Current TNCC certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting
• Familiarity with Trauma Level IV emergency care protocols
