Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 26-Week Assignment | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Telemetry Clinical Decision Unit within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
• Administer and monitor vasoactive drips with proficiency and clinical accuracy
• Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
• Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
• Float to sister facilities within the health system as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Complete all required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner prior to assignment start

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
• Minimum 18 months of telemetry and/or acute care experience required
• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
• Strong vasoactive drip experience required
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal
• NIHSS certification required prior to assignment start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of telemetry and/or acute care nursing experience
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with EKG interpretation and pharmacology assessments
