Contract | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | 26-Week Assignment | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical/Telemetry Clinical Decision Unit within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
- Administer and monitor vasoactive drips with proficiency and clinical accuracy
- Perform continuous telemetry monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
- Document all patient care activities accurately using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to sister facilities within the health system as needed to meet staffing requirements
- Complete all required pre-start and annual compliance modules in a timely manner prior to assignment start
Required Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license (no pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry and/or acute care experience required
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience required
- Strong vasoactive drip experience required
- Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal
- NIHSS certification required prior to assignment start date
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of telemetry and/or acute care nursing experience
- Prior experience with EPIC charting system
- Familiarity with EKG interpretation and pharmacology assessments
