Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 or 48 Hours Per Week Available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
• Monitor, interpret, and manage cardiac dysrhythmias and telemetry readings
• Care for patients with diagnoses including cardiac arrhythmias, MI, ACS, heart failure, DKA, uncontrolled diabetes, and post-procedural cardiac patients (heart catheterization, PPM, ICD)
• Manage cardiac drips in accordance with unit protocols
• Perform IV starts and maintain proficiency with unit systems including EPIC, PYXIS, and SBAR communication
• Float to other units as required and contribute to a team-based care environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Cardiac Telemetry experience required
• Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Ability to work 8 weekend shifts per contract and 2 of 3 major holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step-Down, IMC, or Telemetry/Stepdown unit experience strongly preferred
• First-time travelers are welcome; step-down background is a plus
