Travel Occupational Therapist

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts or 5x8-hour rotating schedule | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM or 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | Weekend rotation required (2–3 weekends per month)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient acute care setting on a dedicated rehabilitation unit
- Manage a daily caseload of 8–10 patients, delivering evaluation and treatment services
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary therapy team including PTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using the EPIC electronic medical records system
- Participate in weekend rotation coverage (Saturdays and Sundays, 2–3 weekends per month)
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience
- Acute care experience is required; candidates without this experience will not be considered
- Must obtain Alaska state fingerprint clearance and state background check clearance (or provisional status) prior to start
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR system
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a high-volume, team-oriented rehabilitation department
