Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (6:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 3x12s, Every Other Weekend)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents within an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) setting serving individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with individualized care plans
- Manage and monitor G-Tube feedings and related enteral nutrition procedures
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in resident condition to the interdisciplinary care team
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and care standards throughout the work week (Sunday–Saturday)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Maine
- Hands-on experience with G-Tube management
- Experience working in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) environment
- Flu shot required prior to or upon start of assignment
- Ability to work every other weekend as part of the scheduled rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with patients with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD)
- Familiarity with ICF regulatory standards and documentation requirements
- Experience caring for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatric to adult age groups
