Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Projected Start: August 10, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
- Demonstrate critical thinking skills and clinical judgment in planning and delivering safe, high-quality patient care
- Monitor and manage patients requiring ventilator and tracheostomy support, central line management, and telemetry monitoring
- Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Required Qualifications
- Active Colorado RN license or a multi-state compact RN license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in an LTAC or comparable setting
- Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management
- Knowledge of central line care and maintenance
- Ability to manage a patient ratio of 1:6
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Wound care experience in an LTAC or acute care environment
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in LTAC settings
