Travel Radiology Technologist

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide variety of routine and advanced diagnostic imaging procedures while supporting patient throughput and efficient patient flow.
- Ensure completed exams are accurately scanned and stored in PACS; serve as a PACS Superuser and follow downtime procedures as needed.
- Troubleshoot basic equipment maintenance issues and report malfunctions to appropriate personnel; participate in quality assurance activities.
- Adapt patient assessment and care methods to accommodate the unique physical, psychosocial, cultural, and age-specific needs of each patient.
- Demonstrate flexibility by working alternate shifts and/or at other campuses as operationally required.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable state, federal, and organizational policies, procedures, and standards of care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program or approved equivalent.
- Radiography (R) certification by ARRT is required.
- Active New Mexico state licensure — RRT issued by MIRTP NMED is required.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
- Basic computer proficiency required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital-based radiology setting preferred.
- Prior experience with PACS image archiving systems and image processing workflows.
