Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No weekend requirement | Holidays possible

Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient physical therapy evaluation and treatment services within a hospital-based rehabilitation unit
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in accordance with clinical standards and scope of practice
• Document patient progress and treatment notes using Epic electronic health records system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
• Float to similar units or sister facilities as needed to meet operational demands
• Participate in emergency response team assignments as required during hurricane season (June–November)

Required Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license or Multi-State Compact license required at time of contract start
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of physical therapy experience
• Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting system
• Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year prior to placement

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an outpatient or hospital-based rehabilitation setting
• Experience as a travel therapist in a similar clinical environment
