Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 31-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and support Electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, arrhythmia induction, conduction studies, and pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming
- Participate in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures such as pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Watchman procedure, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
- Administer and monitor cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
- Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG and manage dysrhythmias
- Provide patient education focused on lifestyle modifications and medication adherence
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary care team
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Washington or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
- Proficiency in cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology procedures as listed in key responsibilities
- Competency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
- Experience with EPIC electronic health records (required)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure and Watchman procedures
- Background in patient engagement and chronic disease education within a cardiac or vascular setting
- Prior experience in a Heart and Vascular clinic environment
