Registered Nurse – Electrophysiology (EP) Lab

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM | 31-Week Assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with and support Electrophysiology procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, arrhythmia induction, conduction studies, and pacemaker/AICD insertion and programming
• Participate in Cardiac Cath Lab procedures such as pacemaker/defibrillator lead extraction, Watchman procedure, and Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure
• Administer and monitor cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, antihypertensives, and thrombolytics
• Obtain and interpret 12-lead EKG/ECG and manage dysrhythmias
• Provide patient education focused on lifestyle modifications and medication adherence
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and collaborate effectively within the multidisciplinary care team

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Washington or valid Compact RN license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an RN in an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Proficiency in cardiac cath lab and electrophysiology procedures as listed in key responsibilities
• Competency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias and 12-lead EKG/ECG acquisition
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records (required)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Left Atrial Appendage (LAA) closure and Watchman procedures
• Background in patient engagement and chronic disease education within a cardiac or vascular setting
• Prior experience in a Heart and Vascular clinic environment
