Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Includes Weekends and Holidays as Needed | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced acute care emergency room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across the full acuity spectrumpotentially float between designated campuses based on census and staffing needs
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Be available for emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of emergency room nursing experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or valid Compact license (must be in hand prior to start date)
- Current ACLS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Proficiency with Epic electronic medical records system
- Experience working in an acute care hospital environment
- Flexibility to float between like units or campuses as needed
