Contract | Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during day shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
• Document and track hours worked using the designated time-tracking platform

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Active and unencumbered Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start date
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months is required (Charge RN references accepted)
• Must achieve an acceptable score on both the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single location
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity of compliance-heavy health system requirements
