Contract | Days | 5x8 Hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Monday–Friday | No call, no weekends, no holidays | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care for patients in a high-volume GI lab setting (approximately 60 patients per day)
• Monitor and recover patients receiving monitored anesthesia care (MAC) sedation following GI procedures
• Perform IV insertions and assist with procedure preparation and patient stabilization
• Deliver patient education related to GI procedures and post-procedure care
• Float within the GI service line as needed
• Occasionally cover late shifts when operationally required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (MO or applicable compact license)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience; prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience in pre- and post-procedure recovery of GI or endoscopy patients
• Proficiency with IV insertion and recovery of patients under monitored anesthesia care sedation
• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in PACU, recovery, or emergency department nursing
• Experience in an outpatient endoscopy center or pre/post procedure unit
• Working knowledge of GI procedures and related patient education
