Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting within a short-term acute care facility
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4
- Float between units and sister facilities based on skill set and organizational need
- Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
- Commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
- Minimum of 2 years of travel nursing experience
- Proficiency with Epic charting system
- Must have a personal vehicle available for use during this assignment
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience floating to multiple units or facility types within a health system
- Familiarity with acute care environments and telemetry monitoring
