Travel RN – Emergency Room / Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a full-service freestanding emergency department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
• Perform and assist with procedures typical of a full-service emergency department
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Float between emergency department locations as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with current Compact (multi-state) licensure — required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of ED experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS and/or ENPC, and TNCC certifications
• Independent, critical thinking skills with the ability to function autonomously in a fast-paced environment
• Strong clinical and relational skills supporting a high-quality patient care experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department (FSED) environment
• CEN, CPEN, or TCRN certification
