Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day and Night Shifts Available (3:00 AM–3:00 PM / 3:00 PM–3:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the full scope of practice as a Registered Nurse on a Medical Surgical unit
- Utilize electronic medical record system (EPIC) for documentation and PYXIS for medication administration
- Manage a patient assignment within a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio on a 20-bed unit
- Float to other Medical Surgical units within the facility as needed
- Participate in general orientation, EMR training, and departmental orientation consisting of 1–2 shifts
Required Qualifications
- Current Indiana RN license or valid Compact RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with EPIC as an electronic medical record system
- Familiarity with PYXIS medication dispensing systems
