Contract | Days | 7 on / 7 off rotation | Weekday shifts: 12:00 PM – 10:00 PM | Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | On-call required every other Friday (6:00 PM – 8:00 AM Saturday) | Weekend and holiday coverage included in rotation | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a high volume of MRI scans and studies, including Level 2 Traumas, averaging approximately 38 scans per day across inpatient and clinic settings
- Operate Siemens MRI equipment across multiple scanners in both hospital and clinic environments
- Float between inpatient and attached clinic areas as needed to support departmental coverage
- Start and manage IV lines for contrast and other imaging-related procedures
- Document and manage imaging workflows using Cerner EMR and Siemens PACS
- Work independently during weekend shifts with assistant support, and participate in on-call rotation as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification (MRI)
- Current BLS certification
- Hands-on experience with Siemens MRI equipment (required)
- Previous experience in a hospital setting (clinic-only experience is not sufficient)
- Ability to start IVs independently
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as part of the 7 on / 7 off rotation
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner EMR and Siemens PACS
- Familiarity with high-acuity imaging including trauma studies
- Comfort working independently with minimal supervision during off-peak and weekend hours
