Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | On-Call Required | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with diagnostic cardiac catheterization procedures, including right and left heart catheterization
- Assist with cardiac stent placement and related interventional cardiology procedures
- Circulate procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Fulfill on-call requirements covering weeknights and weekends (Friday 5:30 PM through Monday 7:00 AM)
- Chart accurately and efficiently using Epic electronic health record system
- Float to sister facilities nearby as needed to support unit staffing requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of California; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required (hard stop)
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
- Prior travel nursing experience required (first-time travelers will not be considered)
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 designated holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 5 or more years of RN experience, particularly within a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology environment
- Familiarity with Epic charting system
- Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
