Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Long-Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility (LTC/SNF) setting during overnight shifts
- Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as directed by the care plan and supervising RN or physician
- Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes in status to the appropriate clinical staff
- Assist with activities of daily living and ensure resident comfort and safety throughout the shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team members to support quality resident outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted LPN or LVN license in the state of Iowa
- Experience in a Long-Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility setting
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
- Availability to work every third weekend and every other designated shift rotation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior contract or travel nursing experience in LTC/SNF environments
- Familiarity with electronic health records and clinical documentation systems used in skilled nursing settings
