Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ED RN)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week plus 2 on-call shifts; holiday and on-call coverage required

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate patient care from admission to discharge in the Emergency Department
• Utilize accepted standards and protocols including ACLS, PALS (or equivalent), TNCC, and BLS
• Drive achievement of patient outcomes through the implementation of clinical pathways
• Provide coverage at additional nearby facilities as needed
• Participate in holiday rotation and on-call shifts as required

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current ACLS certification
• Current PALS certification (or equivalent)
• Current TNCC certification
• Current BLS certification
• Experience working in an Emergency Department setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Trauma Level IV designation and associated protocols
• Comfort working in a rural or mountain community healthcare environment
