Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a fast-paced Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including GI conditions, blood loss and anemia, infections, renal diagnoses, post-surgical GI patients, and cardiac monitoring patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms for patients in designated telemetry beds

• Maintain patient ratios of 1:6, with the understanding that ratios may reach 1:7 based on staffing needs
• Utilize unit systems including PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR for documentation and communication
• Float to other Medical Surgical units and floors as needed
• Work every other weekend as required

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in NC or a Compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience
• Minimum of 1 year of travel nursing experience (first-time travelers will not be accepted for this complex unit)
• Proficiency in IV starts
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with PYXIS, EPIC, and SBAR documentation systems
