Surgical Technologist – Surgical Services

Contract | Day/Evening Rotating | Combination of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts to equal 40 hours per week | Call and weekends as needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform both circulating and scrubbing duties across a wide variety of surgical services
• Support surgical procedures in specialties including Robotic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic, ENT, Surgical Oncology, Colorectal, Urology, GYN Oncology, Ortho, and Plastics/Reconstructive
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records utilizing the EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with the surgical and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes
• Respond to call requirements and weekend scheduling as needed per department needs

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• Demonstrated experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system required
• Highly proficient in Robotic Surgery, Neurosurgery, Thoracic Surgery, and ENT procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in ENT/Plastics including Flaps and Microvascular procedures
• Experience with Endoscopic procedures such as Bronchoscopy, EGD, EBUS, and Laparoscopic Surgery
• Neuro experience including Craniotomy, Endoscopic Endonasal Approach (EEA), and Skull Base procedures
• Broad multi-service scrub experience across Thoracic, Colorectal, Urology, GYN Oncology, and Robotics
