Travel RN – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Wichita, Kansas
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 15-bed Level II Trauma Pediatric ICU at a 2:1 patient ratio
- Perform IV starts and blood draws in accordance with unit protocols
- Assist with TPT placements and other unit-specific procedures
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary night shift team including Intensivists and Respiratory Therapists
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech / CPN EMR systems
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital PICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current PALS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
- APHON certification or oncology pediatric nursing experience
- Prior experience in a pediatric teaching hospital environment
