Recovery Specialist - Inpatient

Contract | Rotating Days/Evenings | Wednesday–Saturday availability required | Float position between two locations | 72 hours guaranteed biweekly; up to 40 hours per week if available

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities throughout each shift
• Observe and supervise clients and the unit, conducting 30-minute client well-being checks
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and assist with other admissions duties
• Search client belongings upon admission, at discharge, or as directed by a supervisor
• Complete all required checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in a timely manner in accordance with agency policies and procedures
• Support clients with individual case management and group treatment services focused on accessing step-down levels of care

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Must have open availability Wednesday through Saturday for day and evening shifts
• Must be prepared to be called in with as little as 2 hours notice prior to a shift
• Ability to float between multiple inpatient locations as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with a substance use population strongly preferred
• Valid driver's license in good standing preferred
