Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days or Nights, 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM–7:15 PM or 6:45 PM–7:15 AM) | Every third weekend required | On-call required (two 12-hour shifts per 6-week period)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting within an acute care hospital
- Manage patient ratios of 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 couplets based on unit needs
- Deliver high-risk OB care and couplet care in accordance with facility protocols
- Utilize Epic electronic health record system for accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Administer and manage medications using the facility's medication dispensing system
- Participate in on-call assignments and respond to emergency response needs as required, including potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
- Active South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM, AWHONN Beginner, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
- Demonstrated experience with Couplet Care and High-Risk OB
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
- Must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility (locals not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- AWHONN Advanced certification
- STABLE certification
