Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 12-bed ICU setting with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including CRRT, IV pumps, fluid warmers, and blanket coolers
- Assist with or support procedures such as dialysis line insertions, arterial line insertions, central line insertions, cardioversion, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertions
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Prioritize patient experience while maintaining clear communication with staff and providers
- Float as needed across multiple campus locations within the health system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital ICU experience
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Ventilator competency
- IV drip (IV gtt) competency
