Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | 12-Hour Rotating Shifts (Days/Nights) | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Every Other/Third Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric populations in a 22-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit with an average daily census of 20
- Manage and care for patients with conditions related to burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery, urology, GYN, ENT, and oral/maxillofacial surgeries
- Perform and assist with specialized procedures including burn dressings, flap checks, and leech therapy
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC and administer medications via the Pyxis medication system
- Float to other units within the facility as required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/Stepdown experience required
- Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a similar patient population (burns, surgical, reconstructive)
- Previous charge RN experience
- Teaching hospital experience
